We currently have an exciting and challenging opportunity for self-motivated, reliable, client and team- oriented individuals with great communication skills and a strong attention to detail to join our team.

As a member of a professional team of revenue collection officers, you will be responsible for collecting outstanding tax liabilities owed to the province. You will independently conduct investigations on businesses to ensure compliance with the filing and remittance requirements of the various statues administered. This involves contacting tax clients (via telephone and in person), negotiating to reach an agreement, and determining appropriate legal collection actions.

To succeed in this position, you will be:

The knowledge and abilities required would typically be obtained through:

  • The completion of post-secondary education resulting in a degree or diploma focused on accounting. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will also be considered.
  • Experience using a variety of computer software applications such as Microsoft Office products.

Prospective candidates with required education outside of Canada are strongly encouraged to obtain either an ICAS Assessment Report from www.icascanada.ca or a Credential Evaluation and Authentication Report from www.wes.org**, including it with your application.
