Data Developer: On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Data Developer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite at our client’s Calgary or Edmonton office.

Data Developer - Job Description: The CX Metrics & Analytics Data Developer will support the Voice of Client (VoC) program, focusing on model training, validation, and QA, as well as documentation, governance, development, and deployment. This role involves working on the operational aspects of the VoC program to enhance client insights.

Data Developer - Responsibilities:

• Document existing VoC processes and data sources
• Perform data cleaning and transformation
• Develop, maintain, and QA models, including BERT models for topic and sentiment analysis
• Oversee deployment and operations via Google Cloud Platform
• Manage CI/CD pipeline and deploy Python projects to production
• Monitor production system health and troubleshoot incidents
• Manage program governance and maintain project backlog and roadmap

Data Developer - Mandatory Skills:

• Strong process focus
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with Machine Learning, especially Natural Language Processing
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform products
• Experience with GenAI, especially Gemini
• Excellent communication skills

Data Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with GitHub for version control
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Cloud Build
• Knowledge of model evaluation metrics and benchmarking
• Experience in handling production incidents and outages
• Ability to document system architecture and data flow

Data Developer – Assignment Length: This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.
