Your role as a craftsman in our Spa Village is to cultivate peace. Here at Nordik Spa Village , we are a passionate and dedicated team. We are always enthusiastic, helpful, conscientious, discreet and above all respectful. We care deeply about each and every guest and fellow craftsman in our wellness spa.
The host/hostess is responsible for providing a warm, professional welcome to each of our guests, helping create a positive first impression and a smooth experience from start to finish in our restaurants.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests with courtesy and kindness upon arrival.
- Escort guests to their table in accordance with the established floor plan.
- Manage expectations by communicating tactfully during busy periods.
- Maintain constant communication with the service team to ensure efficient section rotation and estimate wait times.
- Oversee the waiting line and guest turnover based on traffic levels.
- Provide guests with relevant information about the site, menus, and village code.
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Thank guests upon departure to end their visit on a positive note.
Secondary tasks
- Provide support with secondary busser/commis tasks when needed to keep operations flowing smoothly.
- Actively contribute to the overall guest experience by engaging with guests in a considerate and friendly manner whenever appropriate.
Profile sought
- Excellent sense of hospitality and customer service
- Neat appearance and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills in both French and English
- General knowledge of the restaurant/service environment
- Good organizational abilities and effective stress management
- Ability to remain standing for extended periods
- Capacity to communicate clearly and courteously with guests and with the service team
Work schedule Part-time position
From 12h to 8pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday, more on Holidays
