This Position reports to:

Director of Health, Safety and Environme

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform a diagnosis of the situation and define an action plan, identifying health and safety improvement projects.
  • Propose and structure the first tools (risk register, simple procedures, incident forms, action plan).
  • Create posters, simple videos, awareness tools, and improvement suggestions adapted to a beginner context.
  • Help identify applicable legal requirements and begin updating the legal register.
  • Participate in waste characterization, the implementation of sorting areas, and the preparation of initial environmental measures.
  • Contribute to preparing the basic elements of the future ISO 14001 and 45001 system (processes, policies, registers, evidence of compliance).
  • Help carry out mini‑audits or internal checks to measure progress toward certifications.
  • Propose field‑appropriate ideas to improve safety, reduce risks, and minimize environmental impact.
  • Align with ABB’s core values of safety and integrity—taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for colleagues and the company.

Qualifications

  • Final internship in a program related to occupational health, safety, and environment.
  • Basic knowledge of HSE legislation.
  • Ability to work with the Office 365 suite.
  • Strong analytical and observational skills.
  • Rigorous, curious, and innovative.
  • Strong communication and mobilization abilities.
  • Bilingual: French and English, spoken and written. French is required. English is also required to regularly communicate with clients outside Québec.
