Job Description

Responsible for the ordering of all food service departmental non-food related supplies, including placement of orders based on pre-determined par levels,
-
Provides assistance to the Coordinator by taking inventory and receiving/storing of all food and non-food items used by the department. Performs inventory control according to standard Food Services practices
-
Keeps freezers, fridges, storage rooms, receiving area and receiving office clean and in order
-
Checks all orders received against printed purchase orders
-
Verifies product received meets Food Services standards
-
Transports all food, products and cleaning supplies to appropriate storage areas.
-
Move product for tempering to Tempering Fridge as scheduled. Rotate stock. Confirm/check expiry dates
-
Fill orders of additional products required by other sites and arrange for transport

Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Satisfactory employment and attendance record
-
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
-
Excellent customer service skills for dealing with vendors and suppliers
-
Recent food service experience required
-
Understanding of food service ordering processes and HACCP guidelines for safe food handling
-
Understanding of FIFO stock rotation
-
Must be physically able to do the job, some sitting, frequent walking, pushing and pulling of heavy delivery trolleys, heavy lifting and working in colder environments (fridges/freezer)

Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
Additional Information
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.5 hour days shift days, 0700-1500 (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary: $29.380 to $29.980 per hour
