About the role

About Us

At BeWell Health Centres we’re reimagining how care is delivered in Ontario - comprehensive, committed, and connected.

We believe in treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis. Our interdisciplinary team includes psychotherapists, social workers, psychiatrists, and psychologists working collaboratively to provide evidence-informed, deeply human care.

Here, you’ll find the resources and support to do your best work - and the freedom to shape your clinical practice in a way that feels authentic to you.

We’re growing - thoughtfully - and looking for clinicians who bring expertise, curiosity, and genuine care to their work.

Who You are and What You’ll Do

You are a Psychometrist / Psychoeducational Assessment Consultant with experience conducting standardized psychological and psychoeducational assessments under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist or Psychological Associate. You are comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and presenting concerns, and you bring a practical, evidence-based approach to assessment work.

This role will be based out of our Mississauga clinic with some travel required to our Toronto clinic.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments evaluating cognitive, academic, and behavioural functioning, with a primary focus on ADHD and mental health presentations

  • Administer, score, and assist with interpretation of standardized assessment tools, including WISC-V, WIAT-III, and additional measures using Pearson’s Q-interactive platform

  • Administer supplementary assessments as required (e.g., RIAS-2, KTEA-3, CMS, CTOPP-2, BEERY-VMI, PPVT-5, EVT-3)

  • Collect relevant background information through interviews and collateral sources

  • Collaborate with patients, parents/guardians, and other professionals to support comprehensive assessment and recommendations

  • Prepare clear, accurate, and timely written assessment reports

  • Provide feedback and consultation to clients, families, and team members regarding assessment results

  • Maintain current knowledge of best practices and developments in psychological assessment

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and with external professionals as needed

  • Apply evidence-based practices consistently in assessment and consultation

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Neuroscience required

  • Graduate-level education in psychology or a related mental health field with coursework in psychometrics or psychological assessment considered an asset

  • Experience working with neurodiverse populations required; experience with ASD or developmental assessments is an asset

  • Demonstrated experience conducting psychological assessments with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with mental health, attention, and/or learning concerns

  • Experience administering and scoring cognitive and standardized assessment measures required

  • Proficiency with virtual platforms and digital assessment tools

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing and documentation

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
