Agilus is recruiting for a Junior Accountant in the Staffing Services Sector in a hybrid work environment in Edmonton, Alberta.
You'll support our internal Corporate Services team with invoicing, reconciliations, reporting. This role is perfect for someone who’s organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a dynamic setting where priorities shift quickly.
How you will make an impact:
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate invoicing and financial reporting
- Reconcile payments for medium to large clients and access client system reports
- Prepare timely and accurate journal entries and reconcile month-end financial accounts
- Maintain process documentation to support operational efficiency
- Perform various administrative duties
The successful candidate brings:
- 1–2 years of experience in a complex business or accounting environment
- An excellent communicator; Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities
- Quick-thinking and resilient, with a problem-solving mindset in fast-paced situations
