About the role
Who you are
- Is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Has proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, TypeScript, etc.)
- Understands software design principles and RESTful API concepts
- Has strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Has a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with frontend or backend frameworks (React, Node.js, Django, etc.)
- CMS experience: Hubspot or Contentful
- Coursework or project work involving full-stack development or API integrations
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
- Has familiarity with cloud platforms

What the job involves
- Work on projects that impact the business and contribute to Transcarent's mission of better health and care
- Gain exposure to how a real engineering team works, from sprint planning to shipping code
- Work alongside engineers from diverse backgrounds (web development, mobile, API, etc.)
- Have a formal mentor on your team guiding you throughout your internship
- Work alongside a highly skilled team of engineers who will guide and shape your growth as a software professional
- We're excited to offer a hands-on internship experience designed to give you real-world exposure and meaningful work from day one. Our summer program runs May 26 – August 14, giving you a structured, full-season experience alongside talented teams across the business
