This is a unit-based position, overseen by Eastern Alberta District. The successful candidate will be working along side a team of 6 regular members and will be exposed to certain, unsettling materials such as photos, audio/video statements, and general conversations regarding the investigations

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Proof of education will be required prior to appointment.
Degree equivalency
Experience providing service to internal or external clients / general public, via telephone or in person.
Experience in the provision of administrative support services including two of the following: data entry, preparing correspondence, ordering office supplies, filing, or processing mail
Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel
If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)
Experience in maintaining a law enforcement database such as: Police Reporting Occurrence System (PROS) or Canadian Police Information (CPIC).
Experience working in a law enforcement and/or legal environment
Training and/or experience in providing financial support services such as the collection and recording of monies received, handling petty cash funds, verifying supplier invoices, preparing invoices

Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence or equivalent
Conditions of employment
Reliability Status security clearance - RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status security clearance.
NOTE: Successful candidates will require a valid RCMP security clearance prior to appointment and throughout the tenure of their employment. The process to obtain RCMP security clearance involves a security/reliability interview and a field investigation regarding matters of criminal activity which includes reference checks, verification of credit/financial status, education, employment, etc. As such, the process may take several weeks or months to complete.
