About the role

The Member Services Supervisor provides leadership to the Front Desk team and oversees the Pro Shop. The role is focused on creating a warm, welcoming, and engaging member experience that upholds the highest standards of a private club environment.

R****esponsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Member Services Team, fostering a positive, service-focused environment through coaching, guidance, and daily support.
  • Serve as the primary referral point for escalated member or guest concerns, handling issues calmly, professionally, and with sound judgment.
  • Provide ongoing training and development, ensuring team members are confident, knowledgeable, and equipped to deliver excellent service.
  • Oversee onboarding of new staff, introducing them to service standards, club policies, and team expectations to ensure a strong start.
  • Provide feedback and coaching, supporting staff performance, and encouraging growth and accountability.
  • Promote clear communication across departments, ensuring operational needs are met, enhancing the member experience.
  • Role modelling professionalism and service standards, reinforcing the Club’s values in every interaction.
  • Support front desk and serve as back up for alternate shift supervisor.
  • Commit to continuous learning, seeking opportunities to enhance leadership, coaching, and member service skills.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role preferably as a supervisor in a private club, hospitality or recreation environments.
  • Strong customer service leadership skills, preferably with 2 years experience supervising a team, including training and developing staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  • A team-oriented leader with strong communication and problem solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software, such as Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Background check will be required.
