**Location:**Kingston, ON.
Reports to**:**Operations Manager.
Role Type**:**Full-Time, Permanent.
Salary Range:$21 to $30/hour – Based on experience.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, and working in close collaboration with local managers, supervisors, and crew leaders, the Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating skills‑based training for both new hires and existing employees. This includes onboarding, orientation, Inservice training, and mentorship programs.
The position will be based out of the Group’s Kingston or Trenton office, with regular travel to additional locations as required.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of required skills and practical application within the Moving & Storage Division
- Maintain a strong understanding of company policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Stay current with relevant legislation and regulations to support full compliance
- Develop training plans, materials, and evaluation tools for consistent delivery and performance monitoring
- Establish a comprehensive training framework across all employment stages (new hire, experienced hire, mentor/mentee, and Inservice for experienced staff)
- Incorporate updates for new or revised processes and procedures into training programs
- Partner with the Operations Manager to identify learning objectives, compliance requirements, and curriculum for various roles (drivers, movers, packers, crew leaders, laborers)
- Coordinate with local supervisors and Human Resources to schedule and deliver required training sessions
- Coach and support crew leads in conducting unit‑specific training, ensuring proper follow‑up and completion
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all training delivered
Relevant Experience & Skills
- Management and leadership experience
- Teaching, training, or coaching background
- Human Resources knowledge
- Occupational Health & Safety expertise
- Bilingual capabilities is an asset (English/French)
Requirements
- Post‑secondary diploma or degree in a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the moving & storage or logistics industry.
- Prior experience creating and facilitating structured training programs.
- Bondable
- Eligibility for Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance
- Satisfactory criminal record check
- Clean driving record with Valid driver’s license
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle
