The secret sauce behind Sonder’s tech-forward approach to hospitality is our suite of Operational Excellence products. This includes our middleware and automation platform (MAP), along with bespoke task management and housekeeping software, all designed to empower internal teams and deliver seamless service to guests worldwide. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of this suite. In this role, you’ll shape how Sonder’s systems integrate, scale, and adapt for the future. From automation to AI in operations, you’ll define the strategy that keeps Sonder efficient, resilient, and ahead of the curve.
AT SONDER YOU WILL:
- Define the strategy and roadmap for hospitality operations products utilized by Guest Services, Market Operations, and Housekeeping teams.
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Sonder’s middleware platform, ensuring it powers integrations, automations, and data flows across the business.
- Lead discovery and delivery for new integration and automation opportunities, reducing manual workflows and unlocking efficiency for Operations teams.
- Partner closely with engineering to deliver both simple integrations and complex architectural solutions.
- Translate business needs into scalable product solutions, balancing quick wins with long-term platform resilience.
- Leverage the latest in LLM and other AI technologies to enable internal teams to surface information and solve complex customer and corporate problems.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Operations, Finance, and other business functions to deeply understand needs and transform them into product opportunities.
- Anticipate edge cases and cross-functional dependencies, ensuring reliability, scalability, and readiness for future system migrations.
- Collaborate with adjacent product areas to ensure alignment, consistency, and leverage of shared infrastructure.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with focus on platform, middleware, or enterprise integration products.
- Strong technical fluency; comfortable working with engineering on APIs, data flows, and system architectures, and evaluating tradeoffs between building vs. buying.
- Experience developing robust products that automate and integrate transparently, reliably, and extensibly.
- Proven ability to balance product vision with pragmatic delivery, from establishing robust long-term platforms to shipping targeted integrations quickly.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and cross-functional alignment, particularly with Operations, where priorities may shift quickly.
- Comfort with ambiguity and able to operate effectively amid open questions while continuing to drive impact.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and storytelling skills.

The pay range for this role is between $101,745.00 - $190,000.00 annually. Actual pay within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including your geographic location. Equity, benefits, and discretionary bonus may be additional forms of compensation for this role and are not included in the provided pay range.
