Job Role: Power Platform Developer Duration: 3-6 Months (Highly chance to extends) Location: Toronto, ON
Job Role:
Power Apps Development: Design, develop, and customize canvas and model-driven Power Apps to meet business requirements. Create user-friendly interfaces and ensure seamless integration with data sources. Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and security measures within Power Apps.
Power Automate: Develop and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes. Integrate workflows with various data sources, including Dataverse, SharePoint, and external APIs. Monitor and optimize workflow performance to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Dataverse Management: Design and manage Dataverse data models, including tables, relationships, and business rules. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies. Optimize Dataverse performance and storage usage.
API Integration: Develop and configure custom API connectors to integrate Power Platform solutions with third-party systems and services. Ensure secure and efficient data exchange between Power Platform and external systems. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
Solution Design and Implementation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Create technical documentation, including solution architecture, workflows, and user guides. Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Power Platform solutions.
Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Power Platform solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by end-users. Stay updated on the latest Power Platform features and best practices.
Required Skills: Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer, with expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform architecture and its components. Experience in creating and managing custom API connectors for integration with external systems. Proficiency in Power Apps formulas, Power FX, and Canvas/Model-driven app development. Hands-on experience with Dataverse, including data modeling, relationships, and business rules. Knowledge of Power Automate flows, including multi-step workflows, approvals, and error handling. Familiarity with Azure services, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 integrations. Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and OAuth authentication. Experience with Power BI integration for reporting and dashboards is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600). Experience with Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of low-code/no-code development principles. Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools for Power Platform.
