Collins aerospace is looking to hire Wash Technician for the weekend night shift. In this position you will be reporting to the weekend shift Plating & Processing Supervisor. As the Process Technician for Wash, you will be responsible for maintaining demand for production requirements.
Work Location: Oakville Facility, Ontario - Canada Shift Hours: Weekend Night (Friday – Sunday - 6:00 pm - 6:00 am) What You Will Do
- Vapor Degreasing and Aqueous Washing aircraft components during the manufacturing process.
- Work on the degreasing tank in the process of cleaning components in preparation for the various other work that must be completed on the part.
- Part loading and unloading, rigging and crane operation, along with a spray wand are all tools that will be used on a regular basis.
- Will be responsible for maintaining a log, following priority schedule, ensuring lead times are met and maintaining a clean and organized work place.
- Support and promote continuous improvement, 5S activities and Standard Work Development in the cell.
- Multi-task and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications We Require
- Typically High school diploma, with a one years of manufacturing experience.
- The selected candidate has to be eligible to work in Canada; successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Demonstrated ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Strong understanding of WHMIS.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a cross-functional employee.
- Demonstrated ability to operate and use an overhead crane in a safe manner.
- Willingness to train and operate other machines in the cell and willingness to work overtime.
