Overview
The company is currently looking for 1 individual to perform the duties of a Service Person “A”. At this time the available shift(s) is 5 x 8 hours. Monday to Friday. 8:00 – 4:30 pm + the possibility of on call, Tuesday to Thursday 8:00 - 4:30 pm + Friday 11:30 am – 8:00 pm, and Saturday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm + On call. This is subject to change based on training and coverage needs, skills and abilities, and rebids based on seniority.
Responsibilities
Job Duties Include:
- Working alone in the trade troubleshooting and performing repair work on soft drink dispensing equipment and foodservice related equipment including but not limited to, vending machines, visi coolers and fountain equipment, ice makers, food heating equipment, and FCB machines.
- Delivery of Vendor/Coolers and Installation of Fountain equipment.
- Using and maintaining trade tools and specialized testing equipment, re: Electrical meters and refrigeration diagnostic tools.
- Completion of invoices, settlement sheets and related paperwork, through hand held computers and/or a manual paper process.
- Maintain Parts and Equipment Inventory.
- Shift work will be required once trained and ready and/or Pepsi Pro certified
- Consistently achieve the company’s goals of 6+ successful activities per day
Qualifications
Qualifications Required:
-
Pepsi Pro Certification within 6 months in the department.
-
Completed Level I & II Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning are considered an asset.
-
Electrical fundamentals and troubleshooting course is considered an asset.

Valid AZ Ontario driver’s license preferred
-
A clean Ministry of Transport driver’s abstract and CVOR certificates required, in accordance with the company’s hiring policy.

Strong interpersonal/customer skills.
-
High school diploma
-
Able to safely move heavy vending/cooling equipment
-
Ability to operate a hand held computer using Apple/Windows based software.
-
Ability to lift 60 pounds.
-
Ability to work with arms extended overhead for prolonged periods of time.
-
Prolonged driving for 8 plus hours.
-
Ability to service equipment in low storage areas with prolonged Kneeling, Stooping, Crouching and Squatting.
-
Previous and current mechanic experience and ability to demonstrate is a STRONG asset
-
Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude test will be administered. 75% weighted average pass rate is required.
