Our team manages over 365 properties located in Canada and the United States. We oversee 5 million square feet of commercial real estate and 43,000 housing units, including more than 120 private residences for seniors. The Cogir Foundation supports projects and causes focused on four main areas: youth, seniors, cultural diversity, and the environment.
Our properties, located in Southern Ontario, are currently looking for a Junior Property Manager for its rental properties. Under the supervision of the Regional Multi-Residential Director, the Jr. Property Manager must plan, organize, direct and control the activities of the multi-residential buildings. The Jr. Property Manager humanizes the service both with tenants and with employees under his supervision.
Role And General Responsibilities
- Complete move in/out inspections
- Scope turnovers
- Manager small scope renovations
- Monitor and manage leasing activity.
- Complete the various reports requested.
- Ensure the optimization of human resources in a context of operational and financial efficiency.
- Ensures compliance with standards and quality standards.
- Analyze the needs of the complex and the clientele.
- Ensure the marketing of the building and rental in order to have apartments rented at full capacity.
Experience And Qualifications
- 1 year of management experience (an asset)
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of real estate management
- Mastery of the laws of Ontario governing rental properties
- Knowledge of Yardi (an asset)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
