Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Dean of the Don Wright Faculty of Music, the part-time New Horizons Adult Band Program Coordinator supports the Faculty by managing the operations of the New Horizons Adult Band (NHB) Program.

**Please note, it is anticipated this position will be filled by reappointment**

  • Program planning and implementation of any recommended changes
  • Oversee the member registration process
  • Collaborate with NHB conductors and instructors
  • Coordinate program resource requirements through the Dean's office
  • Maintain NHB music library inventory
  • Schedule session dates and book facilities for rehearsals, small ensembles and concerts
  • Maintain distribution listing for members and instructors
  • Prepare for and support members and instructors on rehearsal and concert days

Qualifications:
Education:

  • Undergraduate degree, a degree in music or a background in music is preferred
