Leah Alexandra Jewelry is looking for a passionate, experienced, and highly organized Retail Store Manager to lead our Vancouver team at our Oakridge Mall location.

We?re seeking a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, is passionate about fashion, jewelry, and customer experience, and has a proven ability to drive operational excellence while developing high-performing teams. This role is ideal for someone who is both people and process-oriented ? balancing sales leadership, team development, inventory management, merchandising, and day-to-day retail operations.

As Store Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall success of the store while embodying the creativity, professionalism, and values of Leah Alexandra Jewelry.

About the Role

As a Retail Store Manager, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of 6 to 8 Sales Associates and Spark Technicians across multiple retail locations when needed.
  • Oversee all daily store operations, ensuring efficiency, organization, and an elevated customer experience.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage, productivity, and alignment with business needs and payroll budgets.
  • Drive sales performance while motivating the team to achieve individual and store goals.
  • Monitor KPIs, conversion, sales trends, and team productivity while implementing strategies for growth and operational improvement.
  • Lead by example in customer service, professionalism, leadership, and team culture.
  • Build strong client relationships and foster long-term customer loyalty through exceptional service experiences.
  • Take ownership of inventory accuracy, stock organization, inventory counts, transfers, replenishment, and loss prevention processes.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation standards consistently reflect the Leah Alexandra brand aesthetic.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new employees while supporting ongoing staff development and performance management.
  • Conduct regular team check-ins, coaching conversations, and continued training to maintain strong morale and accountability.
  • Manage store communication, operational reporting, and follow-ups with head office and leadership teams.
  • Support operational problem-solving and maintain a calm, solutions-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay current with jewelry, fashion, styling, and social media trends to keep the store experience fresh, relevant, and inspiring.
  • Support and guide Spark Technicians to ensure consistent service quality and technical standards.

You will also be trained as a Spark Technician, offering our signature permanent jewelry services. Comfort with fine tools and basic jewelry assembly is required.

  • This is a full-time, in-person position based at Oakridge Mall in Vancouver, BC.
  • Availability to work mall hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
  • Flexibility between retail locations may occasionally be necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service and sales performance.
  • Manage daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, task delegation, and operational execution.
  • Create weekly staff schedules and manage time-off requests while ensuring strong business coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor payroll hours and staffing budgets while balancing productivity and customer service needs.
  • Oversee inventory management processes including cycle counts, shipment receiving, transfers, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention.
  • Collaborate closely with Retail Operations and leadership teams to support company initiatives and operational goals.
  • Ensure operational standards, visual merchandising, cleanliness, and store presentation are consistently maintained.
