About the role
Are you an experienced Superintendent, particularly when it comes to overseeing the construction of Wood-Frame Multi-Family projects? Are you looking to stay closer to the North Shore? This could be the role for you!
Salary range: $130,000 - $150,000
Responsibilities
- Job Site Coordination - manage day-to-day activities on site and ensure that the project runs smoothly from start to finish.
- Subtrade/Supplier Management - ability to manage construction subtrades and suppliers on the job site and mitigate issues that may arise during a project
- Project Management Interface - ability to work in partnership with the Project Management team to deliver a high-quality finished product while managing the schedule and budget
- Client Interface - meeting with architects, consultants, and/or clients to manage project issues and maintain positive working relationships
- Project Documentation - use Microsoft and other web-based software to manage labour, materials, and equipment, cost coding, expense submittals, field reports, schedules, meeting minutes, request for changes, etc.
- Budget Management - continuous monitoring and management of project budget, ability to minimize project costs through inventive methods and regular financial reporting to management
- Ensure compliance to Work Safe BC regulations
What You Bring
- Experience in a superintendent role overseeing Wood-Frame Multi-Family projects from start to finish.
- Eligible to work in Canada on a full-time basis.
- A strong grasp of current construction practices, including familiarity with construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of safety programs and procedures in BC and how to ensure they are followed on site at all times.
- Adequate computer skills to communicate with all project stakeholders.
- Experience using project management software is an asset.
