About the role
Position Tittle: IT Project Manager Canada Remote need to travel on need basis. We are seeking a senior Project Manager with experience leading projects focused on SAP Master Data as well as Infrastructure deployments. Required Skills and Qualifications · Experience: Minimum 10+ years in IT project management with a focus on infrastructure and software implementations. · Project Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. · Vendor Management: Strong experience managing third-party software vendors and contracts. · Risk Management: Expertise in identifying and mitigating project risks. · Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage, communicate, and manage expectations with diverse stakeholders. · Technical Acumen: Understanding software development, system integrations, and IT infrastructure. · Certifications (Preferred): PMP, CSM, or equivalent.
The Project Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Manage IT Projects within the Applications, Digitalization, and Infrastructure portfolios · Work within IT Project Management Office (PMO) guidelines and responsibility for resourcing, planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects using the IT Project Methodology. · Manage and escalate project issues in an effective and timely manner. · Monitor project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule and escalate as needed. · Manage external resource relationships, strategic partners, and project team members during the life cycle of the project. · Travel periodically to client locations (in Canada) as dictated by project requirements. · Adhere to IT policies, procedures, and frameworks.
