A little about the position:

Job Summary

The Bilingual Warranty Claim Representative (English/French) is responsible for the triage and administration of all claim/repair inquiries in a timely manner, ensuring a high level of service. This role requires fluency in French and English and is based in either Brantford or Kingston, Ontario. Key responsibilities include performing clerical duties related to the Consumer repair lifecycle (data entry, drafting correspondence, cross-system searches), policy administration (reviewing applicable warranties for coverage against case files), and providing exceptional customer service (interacting with customers by phone and email).

Some of What You Will Do:

  • Respond promptly to all inquiries received by phone or email.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to company policies and practices.
  • Document all inbound and outbound communications for auditing purposes.
  • Perform clerical duties associated with the FG/Consumer repair lifecycle, including data entry, information requests, and drafting correspondence.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, manufacturing, marketing, vendors, and customer service to resolve customer inquiries.
  • Ensure data integrity of all claims by validating submitted information against ERP systems to support quality programs.
  • Administer all repair work orders by gathering supporting documentation and reviewing applicable warranty policies to determine coverage.
  • Collect and process customer payments for services purchased through service offers.
  • Schedule and queue work orders into the master production schedule.

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

  • Associate degree or equivalent prior work experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the pool, manufacturing, distribution, or design industry.
  • Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning new computerized systems and programs.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
  • Prior experience in conflict resolution and negotiation is preferred.
