Job Description Allied Universal is seeking Tactical Security Guard in Edmonton, Alberta.
Job Title : Tactical Security Guard
Job Location : Edmonton, Alberta
Job Type : Part Time Shifts : Friday: 10:30 - 2000
Saturday: 1100 - 1900
Sunday: 1100 - 1800
Pay Rate : $20.50 - $21.00
Must have PPCT - Tactical Guard Certificate . Overview: We are looking for diligent and reliable security guards to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring a safe environment.
Requirement:
- Valid Alberta security guard license.
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Experience with report writing and note-taking.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and Clear Driving Abstract .
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- First Aid and CPR
- Must be 18+ years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct foot patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.
- Monitor and report suspicious activities and persons.
- Prevent and detect thefts or vandalism.
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily logs.
- Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
- Use radios and cell phones to communicate with team members.
- Follow emergency procedures and respond to alarms.
- Ensure safety and security protocols are upheld.
