Facilitator Corporate Training – (PMP & P.Eng. Required)
We are seeking an experienced engineering and project management professional to deliver a 4 hour, in person Effective Negotiation workshop for a group of up to 20 credentialed professionals (P.Eng. and PMP holders).
What’s on Your Horizon
The session will explore complex workplace negotiations, including multi party dynamics, social influence, bias awareness, and emotion heavy interactions, using practical, scenario based exercises to build stronger agreements and resolve conflict effectively.
- Delivery Mode: Onsite, Markham, ON
- Training Hours: 4 hours, one day
- Schedule: June 10 or June 17
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a 4 hour in person Effective Negotiation workshop tailored to experienced engineering and project management professionals
- Develop original training materials, including slides, case examples, and scenario based exercises, within the allocated content development scope
- Facilitate interactive discussions and exercises addressing multi party negotiations, social influence, cognitive bias, and emotionally complex workplace interactions
- Apply real world negotiation examples drawn from engineering, project delivery, and stakeholder driven environments
- Create an engaging learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and practical skill application
- Adapt facilitation style to a highly credentialed audience (P.Eng. and PMP holders)
- Manage session timing and flow to ensure learning objectives are achieved within the 4 hour delivery window
What You Bring to Seneca
- PMP and P.Eng. designations required
- Engineering and project management background
- Demonstrated negotiation experience with multiple stakeholders
- Leadership experience managing teams and projects
- Strong training and classroom management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365

However, we recommend that candidates gather any supporting documentation (e.g., unofficial transcripts, scan of credentials) in advance to support their applications in the event that they are successful in the hiring process. The compensation step will be determined based on receiving and verifying relevant formal education through official transcripts and relevant work experience, in accordance with the salary placement calculation process.
