We are searching for a Detailer to join our Ens Toyota Service Department. The ideal candidate will have automotive detail experience and the ability to drive a manual transmission. Experience is an asset; honesty & integrity are mandatory.

This is a permanent FULL-TIME position from Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with an excellent eye for detail to join our team. The hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Complete interior and exterior detailing and reconditioning to dealership standards, including cleaning, stain removal, finishing touches, and final quality checks.
  • Prepare surfaces for polishing, waxing, or protection by performing decontamination and masking trim as required.
  • Support Diamond Kote applications, including vehicle preparation, assisting with application steps, and completing required documentation.
  • Perform hand and machine waxing and polishing, as trained, to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Detail engine bays, door jambs, and other areas as required to ensure a delivery-ready presentation.
  • Operate and maintain detailing equipment and chemicals safely, in accordance with WHMIS/SDS requirements and dealership procedures.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Service to meet delivery timelines, complete rework requests, and report vehicle concerns or damage promptly.
  • Driving vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions.
  • Complete detailing for both pre-delivery and service vehicles as required.
  • Filling vehicles up with gas.
  • Organizing vehicles on the lot and showroom.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the showroom, lot, and detailing areas.
  • Other tasks may be assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of vehicle cleaning products, tools, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of safe chemical handling and workplace safety practices.
  • Familiarity with different vehicle surfaces and materials (paint, leather, plastics, etc.).
  • Positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Able to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Works well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High energy.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work (standing for long periods, bending, lifting, repetitive motion).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
  • Ability to consistently produce high-quality results.
  • Interest in the automotive industry.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's license.
  • Provide Clean Driver's Abstract.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission is an asset.
  • Detailing experience is an asset.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is an asset.
