About the job:
Kent is looking for a Senior Project Controller (Systems & Data Integration) to be based in Calgary, Alberta. This temporary contractor role will support the ITA2 Project Controls team with systems setup, data integration, workflow configuration, and reporting enablement across multiple project systems. The role will assist in ensuring project controls systems are configured and aligned to support accurate reporting, automation, and project delivery requirements.
Basic Job Requirements
- Support setup and configuration activities across project systems, including Wrench, Aveva ERM, Aveva Workpacks, Ecosys, and Power BI
- Assist with development and alignment of metadata, workflows, data structures, and system integration points
- Support document control, reporting, automation, and project controls data management activities
- Assist in enabling reporting outputs across key project metrics, including cost, revenue, progress, earned value, materials, safety, and quality
- Support setup and improvement of Power BI reporting and data model structures
- Collaborate with Project Controls and project stakeholders to support implementation priorities and system readiness
- Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, reporting visibility, and system connectivity
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of the Client ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Qualification/Training/Certification:
- Relevant experience in project controls systems, reporting, data integration, or systems implementation
- Experience with tools such as Power BI, Ecosys, Aveva ERM, Aveva Workpacks, Wrench, or similar project systems is preferred
- Strong understanding of project controls reporting, workflows, and data structures
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience supporting industrial, engineering, construction, or major project environments is preferred
