Role Description/Criteria St Padre Pio Catholic Primary School – Foundation Year Receptionist / School Administrator Position: 0.96 FTE (5 days per week, 8:15am – 4.00pm)

Commencement: Tuesday, 27 January 2026 About Us St Padre Pio Catholic Primary School, Thornhill park, is opening its doors as a new Catholic foundation school in 2026. As a foundation school, we have a unique opportunity to shape a culture of excellence and care from the very beginning. About the Role: As the first point of contact at St Padre Pio Catholic Primary School, you will be the welcoming face of our community. Your role will be varied and rewarding, with responsibilities including:

  • Greeting and assisting students, families, staff and visitors at reception
  • Managing incoming calls, emails and general enquiries
  • Monitoring student attendance and maintaining accurate records
  • Coordinating and caring for students in the sickbay, including administering first aid and medication as required
  • Work closely with and support the Office Manager
  • Providing administrative support to school leadership and staff
  • Supporting the smooth running of daily school operations
  • Be open to providing some classroom support (LSO work) if required
  • Work alongside and in conjunction with MACSEYE admin staff

About You: We are looking for someone who is:

  • Warm, approachable and committed to excellent customer service
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to multitask in a busy school environment
  • Proficient in general administration systems (experience with school systems is an advantage)
  • Respectful of and supportive towards the Catholic ethos of our school

  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC - current as of 27/1/26);
  • Current National Police Check (current as of 27/1/26);
