Position Summary
Hawkesbury Tool is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development / Sales
Representative to support the continued growth of our tool manufacturing and industrial services
business. This part-time role is ideal for someone with a strong background in B2B sales, excellent
communication skills, and a proactive approach to building client relationships.
As a key member of the team, you will focus on generating new leads, nurturing existing accounts, and
promoting our products and services to industrial, commercial, and manufacturing clients.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industrial, commercial, and
manufacturing sectors.
Research and target potential clients through cold calls, emails, networking, and in-person visits.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools or company tracking systems.
Develop customized proposals and quotes based on client needs.
Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure high levels of customer
satisfaction.
Conduct regular follow-ups and site visits as needed.
Provide feedback to management regarding client needs, product improvements, and market
trends.
Sales Support & Reporting
Track and report on weekly/monthly sales activity.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Attend industry events, trade shows, or networking functions (as needed) to represent the
company.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within tools, manufacturing, or
industrial products.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a part-time schedule.
Skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for client visits.
Work Schedule & Compensation
Part-time: 20–30 hours per week, flexible schedule (may include occasional on-site client visits).
Location: Based in Hawkesbury with travel within Eastern Ontario, when needed.
