About the role
PAINTER Full time (40 hrs/week) Afternoon shift (15:15-23:45) Coquitlam School District invites applications from individuals for the position of Painter. As the third largest school district in the province, we are located within a 40-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The school district has a population of 34,500 students with approximately 4500 teaching, administrative, managerial and support staff.
This position reports to the Manager of Maintenance and the Trades Supervisor and is responsible for completing painting tasks with minimum supervision.
Duties Include
- Inside and outside painting tasks under minimum supervision.
- Operation and maintenance of painting equipment such as airless and conventional spray equipment, power washer, computer, brushes, rollers, etc.
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Red Seal Ticket as a Painter
- Recent related experience
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
- A valid BC class 5 driver's license
We offer an attractive benefit package which includes MSP, life insurance, extended health, dental, pension, and a long-term disability plan. Currently salary $41.25/hour – 40 hours a week.
