Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director, Calgary Specialty Clinics, Allied Health and Community Sites, the Program Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to the Calgary Endocrinology & Metabolism Program.
Description:
The Program Manager, Endocrinology & Metabolism , in partnership with the Medical Directors and administrative team, manages the delivery of treatment services for the Endocrinology & Metabolism Program at various sites across the city, including Diabetes Centre Calgary (DCC), Diabetes in Pregnancy (DIP) Clinics; Dr David Hanley Osteoporosis Centre, Calgary Adult Bariatric Surgery Clinic; Endocrine Testing Unit; 24 hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Clinic and Endocrine Clinics. The position must effectively allocate resources where they best support program objectives and quality patient care. The Program Manager will promote a collaborative approach to planning and decision making among key stakeholders within the Calgary Zone. The role requires the skill and ability to lead within a complex evolving organizational environment, while fostering collaboration, innovation and accountability. The Program Manager will promote and support quality improvement initiatives and evidenced based innovations and practice, and associated research.
Classification: Manager Union: Exempt Unit and Program: Endocrinology & Metabolism Primary Location: Richmond Road Diag Treat Centr Location Details: As Per Location Employee Class: Regular Full Time FTE: 1.00 Posting End Date: 07-JUL-2026 Date Available: 27-JUL-2026 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 2 Shifts per cycle: 10 Shift Pattern: Days Days Off: Saturday/Sunday Minimum Salary: $45.23 Maximum Salary: $77.51 Vehicle Requirement: Driver's License, Vehicle Required
Required Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or other health profession, with licensure in appropriate professional body Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience Minimum 3 years of management or progressive leadership experience that includes demonstrated skills and experience in strategic planning; quality improvement; human resource management and financial management
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience in working with a multidisciplinary team ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development with leadership abilities and a strong commitment to operating within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree in related field Clinical and management experience in an ambulatory clinic setting, ideally endocrinology & metabolism
