AWS/CES is looking for a Machinist / Toolmaker – Afternoon Shift

St. Thomas, ON Pay Rate: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour (based on skills and experience) Shift Premium: $1.50 per hour Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM Are you an experienced Machinist or Toolmaker looking to join a growing team with a great work-life balance? We are seeking skilled professionals to support our manufacturing operations in St. Thomas, Ontario.

Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications $1.50/hour afternoon shift premium Four-day work week Stable, long-term opportunity Collaborative and safety-focused work environment Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain machining equipment Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Manufacture, repair, and modify tooling and machine components Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues Ensure quality standards and production requirements are met Follow all safety and quality procedures Required Qualifications Machinist or Toolmaker experience in a manufacturing environment Strong blueprint reading and machining skills Experience with tool and die maintenance, repair, and fabrication Ability to work independently and within a team environment Must-Have Skill CNC Programming experience using Mastercam If you have CNC programming experience with Mastercam and are looking for an excellent opportunity on a steady afternoon shift, we would like to hear from you.
