Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical direction, coaching, and oversight of project execution.

  • Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks (PySpark), Delta Lake, and lakehouse architectures.

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions and communicate progress, risks, and design decisions clearly.

  • Build and maintain high-performance semantic models and curated datasets to support Power BI reporting and enterprise analytics.

  • Implement and enforce engineering best practices including CI/CD, data quality frameworks, documentation standards, and cloud governance.

  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and product owners to prioritize work, define solution roadmaps, and ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy.

  • This role will require 3 days per week at the local Mississauga office or a client site located in the Greater Toronto Area. What you need :

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business administration, commerce, or engineering

  • 4-6 years of experience with Azure Data Services including Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS, Delta Lake, and Azure Synapse.

  • 4-6 years of hands-on expertise building distributed ETL/ELT pipelines with PySpark and Databricks notebooks.

  • Ability to design and optimize Power BI datasets, dataflows, and semantic models to ensure fast, reliable reporting and a consistent enterprise data layer.

  • Excellent business communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

  • Proven track record leading and developing high-performing technical teams within a cloud data environment.

  • Solid knowledge of data modeling, lakehouse patterns, and Power BI data support (datasets, dataflows, and performance tuning). Bonus points if you have:- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, automated deployments, and CI/CD for data engineering.

  • Familiarity with data governance tools such as Azure Purview or Collibra.

  • Exposure to streaming data architectures (Event Hubs, Kafka, or Structured Streaming). Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,

employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
