- You are eligible to receive a bonus.
- You have a permanent part-time position (24-32hrs/week, 3-4 days p/week).

Your tasks at a glance
- You assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patient’s charts accurately.
- You answer patient’s questions and ensure the best service.
- You work closely with Optometrists.
- You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients.
- You update the appointment system after every patient's consultation.
- You schedule and confirm post-operative appointments by telephone.
- You will be cross-trained in the Receptionist position.
A clear view of your assets
- You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
- You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
- Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: medical assistant, physiotherapy assistant, optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, veterinary assistant, etc.).
- You are looking for a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where your ability to work in a team and excel at multi-tasking will be an asset.
- Schedule: You have flexible work availability between Monday to Saturday, day-time (3-4 days a week), as well as Sundays on an occasional basis.

LASIK MD is a leading provider of laser vision correction, with over 40 locations in Canada.
LASIK MD was founded in 2001 by Dr. Mark Cohen and Dr. Avi Wallerstein. The first clinics opened in Toronto and Montreal, and by 2006, LASIK MD had opened clinics in Ottawa, Calgary, and Vancouver. Today, from our head office in Montreal, LASIK MD is a national provider of laser vision correction employing over 700 employees.
