We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Corporate Development Associate professional to join our team. This role will be based in our Corporate head office – Downtown Toronto. This is an on-site position.

Job Overview: The Senior Corporate Development Associate plays a key role in supporting strategic growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnerships, and other corporate projects. This role involves leading components of the deal lifecycle, conducting financial and strategic analysis, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful execution. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical capabilities, autonomy in managing deliverables, and the ability to influence outcomes through expertise

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead key components of the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) process, including valuation, due diligence coordination, and integration planning.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate acquisition targets and strategic investment opportunities.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Operations, and other departments to ensure smooth deal execution and integration.
  • Prepare high-impact presentations and reports for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Manage and update the acquisition pipeline, providing regular insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Support strategic initiatives and special projects across the organization, including partnerships and divestitures.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in all deliverables and communications.
  • Make informed decisions on operational and project-related matters, resolving project-specific issues independently.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Microsoft Excel with advanced analytical capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of basic finance concepts and financial statements.
  • Ability to think analytically and provide actionable insights.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to speak and read in French is considered an asset.

Education, Credentials, Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or accounting.
  • CPA, CBV, CFA, or MBA (completed or in progress) is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
