Join us and be part of a team that’s redefining what’s possible in fluid technology. We are currently looking for a talented Accounts Payable Technician to join the Finance Shared Services team! Reporting to the department’s Group Leader, the Accounts Payable Technician plays a key role in ensuring that invoices are posted accurately and in a timely manner through efficient processes. Main responsibilities
- Verify, code, reconcile, and post invoices in the ERP system.
- Obtain all required approvals for invoices.
- Coordinate month-end closing tasks, including accruals and deferrals.
- Respond to supplier payment requests.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Process weekly supplier payment cycles.
- Help manage supplier relationships, resolve discrepancies, and respond to inquiries.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and other departments.
- Perform other general tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department. Qualifications
- DEC, AEC, or DEP in accounting or administration.
- A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a similar role (accounts payable) in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Good knowledge of the entire accounts payable cycle.
- Proficiency in accounting software and integrated management systems (ERP).
- Plus: knowledge of D365
- Attention to detail.
- Bilingual: French and English
- Experience with PowerLink, Mapics, AS400, or Microsoft Dynamics accounting software is a plus.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (intermediate Excel, Outlook).
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel (PIVOT TABLE, VLOOKUP)
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
