About the role

We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto office. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.

This a 6-month fixed-term opportunity.

About the role:

We are looking for a highly organized, energetic Communications & Sponsorship Coordinator to join our team. This is a hands-on execution role that supports communications, digital channels, brand initiatives, and conference/sponsorship enablement.

About the day-to-day

  • Maintain editorial content calendars and shared communications materials.
  • Update and maintain company website content.
  • Support with social content execution.
  • Ensure brand consistency across digital and physical assets.
  • Create design assets using Canva and Microsoft tools.
  • Coordinate logistics for conferences and sponsorship activations.
  • Prepare speaker kits, talking points, and event toolkits.
  • Support onsite logistics for local conferences as needed.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and vendor coordination.
  • Assist with inbox monitoring, tracking tasks, and managing incoming requests.
  • Contribute to standardized processes and workback schedules.

About the qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in communications, marketing, events, or a related field.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and project-management skills.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office, and general digital content workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a small, highly adaptive team.

About the work environment:

Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times.

Hiring process:

Compensation:

The expected salary for this role is approximately $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
