About the role
We are seeking an administrative assistant to support the engineering department management team. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the product development teams, actively contributing to the growth of the organization.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Provide administrative support for organizing and documenting events, meetings, and schedules for R&D teams, department heads, and the director;
Coordinate business trips and manage expense accounts;
Prepare for the arrival of new employees (access requests, computer equipment, integration into the corporate culture);
Participate in meetings with other administrative assistants to share best practices;
Support budget management: planning, quarterly forecasts, monitoring of certain budget items and accounting entries;
Prepare and process various requests (purchases, IT, etc.).
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Diploma in administration, secretarial work, or a related field;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google suites;
Excellent command of spoken and written French, ability to communicate in English, particularly in writing, with colleagues outside Quebec or who are unilingual English speakers.
Organizational skills, autonomy, rigor, and ability to manage priorities.
Team spirit, resourcefulness, and ability to work under pressure.
Discretion and professionalism.
