PC Financial is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to lead roadmap planning and digital strategy. Reporting to the Head of Digital Platforms, this role will be critical to ensuring delivery clarity and consistency of processes. You will improve how work gets onboarded while holding business stakeholders accountable. You will be pivotal in shaping the future of our digital offerings by partnering with stakeholders across the business to define, prioritize, and plan strategic initiatives. The Senior Manager will be responsible for ensuring new intakes for the digital roadmap have the appropriate level of detail, a comprehensive business case, and are seamlessly integrated into the product roadmap, in close collaboration with digital product managers. This role is focused on Digital Planning and Prioritization.
What You’ll Do
- Planning & Prioritization:
- Lead roadmap planning by facilitating business alignment, completeness of business requests, and roadmap change recommendations working collaboratively across teams. This role is focused on roadmap planning and supporting readiness activities, but not the execution of projects.
- Working with the strategy and product teams aligning roadmap updates to the business strategies and objectives.
- Facilitate quarterly planning sessions to support teams with defining clear readiness milestones and planning their roadmaps for the next quarter.
- Establish predictability and transparency by communicating effectively key changes to the roadmap across the organization. Create visibility into launch dates and release plans.
- Customer & Market Trends:
- Define the Voice of Customer strategy and practice by establishing feedback capturing and monitoring tactics and consolidating insights to be shared with the respective teams to help define product enhancements or new features.
- Lead monitoring of the market landscape by identifying new technologies that present opportunity and competitor feature sets and experiences to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Facilitate monthly performance discussions with Digital Product Managers and business stakeholders.
- Digital Operations:
- Facilitate awareness of production issues and prioritization of bugs across all teams working with product managers.
- Continuous process improvement to optimize how work is prioritized and planned for to deliver the most effective output.
- Act as the Business Control Officer (BCO) lead for the digital group and all associated tasks.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in digital product management, strategy, or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with financial products (banking, credit cards, investments) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, including defining long-term goals, aligning initiatives with organizational objectives, and translating business vision into actionable plans.
- Proven ability to develop business cases by evaluating opportunities, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and preparing clear recommendations to support executive decision-making.
- Strong expertise in roadmap planning and prioritization.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, fostering alignment and collaboration across cross-functional teams, executive leadership, and external partners to drive business outcomes.
- Experience leveraging the voice of the customer to inform product, service, or process improvements, ensuring customer-centric decision-making.
- Strong background in market analysis, including assessing industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform business strategy and innovation.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive evidence-based decision-making.
