The Role
As part of our Corporate Giving and Events program, Cameco has a great opportunity available for an enthusiastic, motivated professional to be a part of a diverse team based out of our corporate office in Saskatoon, SK.
This is a 12-month temporary position.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the organizational lead for corporate giving and sponsorship by coordinating gifts, donations, partnerships, and the Touchdown for Dreams program to strengthen Cameco’s community investment program and presence.
- Lead the planning and execution of staff engagement events by coordinating corporate celebrations, volunteer opportunities, and employee giving initiatives that build organizational culture and connection.
- Deliver day‑to‑day corporate giving functions by managing funding inquiries, overseeing the Benevity portal, supporting internal committee processes, preparing recommendations and payments, and tracking Corporate Giving Program budgets.
- Manage the Cameco Store by sourcing branded merchandise, maintaining vendor relationships and the online store, responding to inquiries, ensuring brand standards, and preparing monthly financial reports.
Required:
-
diploma in philanthropy, donor relations, public relations, event planning, or project management;
-
three to five years of relevant work experience in community investments, corporate giving, donor relations, public relations, event planning or project management is required; and
-
equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.
Recommended:

prior experience developing and delivering on agreements;
-
prior experience accounting/budgeting;
-
prior experience public relations/communications; and
-
prior experience event planning.
