Position Overview:
The Senior HRIS project Manager, reporting to the Head of Human Resources, leads a complex customized, Dayforce (HRIS) project from implementation through post-launch support and ongoing management and evolution. This role combines technical project management expertise with deep HR domain knowledge to deliver systems that enhance HR operations and employee experience.

The Senior Project Manager ensures that the implementation schedules and day to day functionality of Dayforce aligns with Optima Living’s values and operational needs, delivering high-quality, employee and operations focused service. This role collaborates closely with internal departments (operations payroll, finance and senior leadership) to ensure implementation success and ongoing proactive evolution of the system over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Management

  • Manage full lifecycle HRIS Talent Module implementations, upgrades, and integrations using established project management methodologies.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.

  • Lead cross-functional teams including HR, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.

HRIS Technical Oversight

  • Oversee user acceptance testing, system validation, and performance optimization initiatives for the Talent Modules within Dayforce.

  • Serve as subject matter expert on Dayforce implementation and HR configuration requirements.

  • Collaborate with Payroll and other technical teams on system architecture, data migration, security protocols, and integration and HR configuration requirements.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Partner with senior HR leadership to align HRIS projects with strategic business objectives.

  • Facilitate communication and manage stakeholder expectations throughout project lifecycle.

  • Present project status updates to human resource leadership and maintain transparent communication with key stakeholders across all organizational levels.

Process Improvement & Change Management

  • Analyze current HR processes and recommend system-driven improvements to increase efficiency and data accuracy.

  • Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth user adoption. Create training materials and coordinate end-user training programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with DayForce implementation in a large business environment required
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience with at least 3 years focused on HRIS implementations required
  • PMP or similar project management certification preferred
  • Experience with major HRIS platforms and HR business processes
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into system implementation specifications
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
