Hiring Unit:

Student Housing & Hospitality Services

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Dining Hall or Chef, performs tasks required to maintain the cleanliness of cooking utensils and equipment and the kitchen area.

Qualifications Required

• High School Leaving Diploma.
• Three (3) months related experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to communicate, read and write English and French.

Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.

Additional Information

Temporary part-time position for the period August 17, 2025 to April 30, 2026. Work hours and location are variable.

Hourly salary:

$23.69/hour

Hours of work:

up to 38.75 hours per week (day, evening, night). Must be available for weekend schedules from Sunday to Saturday, according to needs.

Location:

Bishop Mountain Hall/Royal Victoria College/Douglas Hall, as per need.
