This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Lead AI-driven test automation strategy, integrating CI/CD, developing scalable frameworks, and leveraging tools like Selenium.
• Drive quality, optimize productivity, mentor teams, standardize solutions, and ensure governance, security, and continuous improvement.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Lead the design and implementation of test automation strategy and frameworks across applications, ensuring scalability, reusability, and efficiency.

• Drive end-to-end quality engineering practices, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and reliable releases.

• Build and enhance automation utilities and accelerators using AI/GenAI to improve test case generation, test data creation, defect prediction, and execution efficiency.

• Leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLM-based solutions) to optimize scripting, reduce manual effort, and improve productivity across QE teams.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Postman for UI and API testing.

• Utilize test frameworks and languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript along with frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Mocha.

• Integrate automation with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

• Collaborate with development, product, and architecture teams to ensure quality is embedded early (shift-left approach) in the SDLC.

• Define and track quality metrics, automation coverage, and ROI, driving continuous improvement in QE practices.

• Mentor and guide QE engineers, promoting adoption of modern automation tools, AI capabilities, and best practices.

• Identify opportunities to standardize frameworks, reusable components, and utilities across programs.

• Support solutioning and proposal development, bringing in innovative QE approaches leveraging automation and AI.

• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards for test governance, security, and compliance.

Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.*
