About the role
Position Overview Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer for our Global Specialty Insurance division, you will be responsible for leading the strategy and establishment of a global framework to streamline how transformation initiatives are measured, selected and prioritized.
Your Role:
- Establish a global framework for prioritizing and governing transformation initiatives, including standardized lifecycle management and risk mitigation.
- Oversee large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs focused on process optimization, automation, and technology integration.
- Drive organizational restructuring and operating model redesign to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Champion adoption of advanced technologies, including AI-driven automation and data acquisition platforms, to accelerate business performance.
- Collaborate with technology leaders to ensure transformation initiatives leverage cutting-edge solutions.
- Provide executive-level reporting on transformation progress, KPIs, and ROI to senior management.
- Ensure robust change management practices and cultural enablement across all transformation programs.
- Mentor senior leaders and associates in transformation methodologies, analytics, and strategic execution.
Your Profile: Technical Qualifications
- A Master Black Belt in Lean and Six Sigma (LSSMBB) by the American Society for Quality
- Master’s degree in Information Systems or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Product Design and Development certification (e.g. Design Thinking, etc.)
- Master in the DMAIC and DMADV methodologies, with a complex level of understanding for data measurement analysis, design of experiments, automated/statistical process control (APC/SPC), and linear programming.
Business Transformation Experience
- Over 10 years of experience leading major transformation programs using Lean Six Sigma, consistently delivering measurable business value.
- Proven ability to manage complex global initiatives across multiple countries, cultures, and stakeholder groups.
- Expertise in organizational restructuring, skillset taxonomy development, and technology-driven process innovation within the insurance and reinsurance sectors.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale automation and data transformation projects across core operational areas, including Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and Operational Reporting.
- Directed cross-functional teams to deploy innovative solutions such as AI-driven process automation and advanced data acquisition platforms tailored for reinsurance.
- Strong background in data acquisition, automation, and leveraging emerging technologies to optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Leadership & Cultural Enablement
- Proven ability to establish and institutionalize a Center of Excellence for transformation initiatives.
- Strong track record in training, mentorship, and driving cultural change across global organizations.
- Expertise in stakeholder engagement, risk management, and fostering collaboration at all levels.
- Demonstrated success in leading direct reports and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic outcomes.
- Skilled in strategic planning and change management for complex, global transformation programs.
- Advanced analytical and statistical capabilities applied to process baselining, performance measurement, and solution prioritization.
