420 hours worked

Qualifications
MINIMUM FORMAL EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- High school completion with job‑related options plus two years = directly-related experience.
OR
- Completion of a Community College course in a related discipline with no experience.
- Some post secondary education is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to concentrate and focus while doing repetitive tasks is required.
- Experience with soil, gas and crop sampling is required.
- Experience with soil extractions is required.
- Experience with soil and crop drying and grinding is required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
Key responsibilities
- Field sampling of gases, soil and crops
- Organizing, drying and grinding of soil and plant samples
- Collection of soil water leachate from field sites
- Processing of soil and plant samples for extraction
- Other duties as assigned.
