About the role
Mississauga, Canada Visual & Listening Technician – Contract The Visual & Listening QC Technician ensures hearing aids meet Sonova’s quality and performance standards before shipping. This role performs visual, listening, and functional inspections, identifies non-conforming products, and supports overall QC processes in alignment with ISO guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect work orders for accuracy
- Perform visual cosmetic checks on hearing aids
- Conduct listening checks to verify sound quality
- Execute Wireless Functional Tests (WFT)
- Assemble custom tips and earmolds with hearing instruments
- Document and report non-conforming products
- Support overall QC activities in accordance with ISO quality procedures
More about you:
- 2+ years of experience in hearing aid manufacturing
- Strong attention to detail with good hand–eye coordination
- Basic computer skills; SAP knowledge is an asset
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
- Effective communicator who works well in a team
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to spot inconsistencies
- Professional working proficiency in English
