The Data & Insights (D&I) team harnesses the power of data to deliver transformative insights and solutions to EA game teams and players. D&I teams are involved in every aspect of data, driving strategy and governance; building powerful data and AI applications; and developing personalization, experimentation, and analytics tools, and more. Overview:
We are looking for a Development Director ll who can navigate between high-level strategy and "on-the-ground" execution. We are looking for a unique hybrid professional: someone who can design a long-term change management roadmap one hour and dive into a team-level blocker the next. You are who builds deep trust with partners and converts ambiguous, high-level opportunities into well-defined, scalable resolutions across multiple titles. In this important position, you will report directly to the Senior Development Director within the Data and Insights organization
Responsibilities:
- You will design and implement change management plans that evolve our distributed support teams from a reactive model to a, partnership across the studio.
- You will scale solutions across multiple titles, identifying successful local processes and standardizing them into framework-level tools and workflows that benefit the entire portfolio.
- You will build deep trust with stakeholders, being the primary bridge between cross-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to align and secure support for major shifts.
- You will lead multi-team orchestration, managing the daily deliveries of various workstreams to ensure you track inter-project dependencies and mitigate risks before they affect the production floor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Game Development (PC/Console/Mobile) or Live-Ops, between a boardroom presentation and a developer's stand-up.
- Experience building and scaling support frameworks, moving a team from reactive support to a partnership model by optimizing processes for a large organization
- Experience with Agile methodologies specifically tailored for game production schedules across multiple time zones and work cultures.
- Have managed risks and mitigation strategies in a complex, live project setting.
- Have experience earning the respect of teams.
Skills/Experience:
- Direct experience in the software development industry, video games or Mobile games.
- Production or Live-Ops experience in video games or mobile games
- Certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP)
- Experience working to Support Distributed Teams across multiple time zones
Pay Transparency - North America
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
*British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$119,600 - $167,300 CAD
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
