About the role
The Sales Manager – Corporate Group and Business Travel is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships while driving revenue growth. This role focuses on prospecting new business, managing existing accounts, and representing the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings. Collaboration with internal departments is essential to ensure seamless execution of client expectations and the delivery of high-quality service.
Availability: Full time from Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Annual pay range: 62K – 68K
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow relationships with new and existing corporate and business travel clients.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities through prospecting, action planning, and outreach.
- Negotiate and prepare client contracts.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales trips, and industry functions.
- Conduct property site tours for prospective clients.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate execution of bookings and client satisfaction.
- Support the Director of Sales and Marketing with assigned projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of corporate sales experience in a hotel or hospitality environment (experience in full-service properties preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Opera PMS (or similar sales/CRM software).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Team-oriented, collaborative, and able to contribute ideas to support overall sales success.
- Valid driver’s license preferred for work-related travel.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
