The Opportunity We are seeking a Service Shift Manager to lead and optimize the efficiency of our Service Department in North Battleford, SK. In this role, you'll oversee technician workload, ensure smooth shop flow, and deliver an exceptional service experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule service jobs based on technician skills and experience.
• Motivate, coach, and develop employees to achieve excellence.
• Optimize shop workflow to minimize downtime and lost billable hours.
• Communicate effectively with customers and employees, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues.
• Perform final checks/approvals before work orders begin.
• Support Service Business Manager during absences or peak periods.
• Conduct safety meetings and promote safe working practices.
• Assist service staff with repair quotes and record keeping.
• Collaborate with internal departments to maintain strong team dynamics.

What You Bring

• 5+ years' experience in complex service repair/maintenance (agricultural equipment preferred).
• Journeyperson Certification (Ag Equipment Tech/JDTECH) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment.
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with business systems.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Physical ability to lift 40 lbs repeatedly (up to 75 lbs occasionally).
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
