We are seeking an Information System and Technology Auditor (‘IT Auditor’) to join our Audit and Financial Investigations Branch. We welcome applicants with strong technical expertise and a passion for learning and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Manager, IT Audit, the IT Auditor will conduct full-cycle IT audits, leverage data analytics to identify and monitor emerging risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective solutions. We encourage individuals who are proactive, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and committed to applying their knowledge to strengthen regulatory compliance and technology controls at AGCO.

In this role, the successful candidate will:

  • Execute standard-based information systems and technology audits, including full-cycle audits outlined in AFI’s annual audit plan and ad-hoc special projects.
  • Support risk assessments and develop audit approaches for emerging technologies and risk areas such as cybersecurity, mobile and web applications, data governance, digital transformations, and cloud security.
  • Conduct IT application and system reviews, leveraging data analytics to identify potential issues, assess root causes, assign risk ratings, and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen regulatory compliance and technology controls.
  • Provide consulting and advisory services on risks, controls, cyber incidents, and corporate initiatives at AGCO.
  • Participate in risk assessment exercises for related operators and/or suppliers as required.
  • Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously develop technical skills in technology auditing, cybersecurity, and IT governance to apply knowledge effectively in audits and advisory engagements.
  • Prepare audit reports, summarize findings, and present actionable recommendations to support effective remediation and risk mitigation.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A post-secondary education in technology/IT audit or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT auditing using a modern risk-based approach, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Thorough understanding of IT controls and the technology auditing process, gained through related experience in IT audit, business operations, or technology support areas.
  • Hands-on experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply, even if they have limited IT audit experience:
  • Cyber threat intelligence and dark web monitoring
  • Email security
  • Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint Detection and Response, Security Information and Event Management
  • Cyber security risk review and vulnerability assessment
  • Data breach incident handling and investigations
  • Cloud security and IT governance review
  • Digital forensics
  • Payment Card Industry (PCI) related audit or assessment
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation or willingness to obtain the CISA designation within 18 months of joining AGCO.
  • Experience in computer-assisted audit tools and techniques (CAATs) and data analysis.
  • In-depth understanding of industry best practices and frameworks such as Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), ISO 27001, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and will be subject to a criminal background check.
