Rate of Pay: $18.00 - $19.00/ hour
Job Summary:
Canlan Sports is seeking a Contact Centre Associate to deliver professional and courteous customer service, processing sales for spot rentals, programs, leagues, and drop-in registrations while fostering genuine connections with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Implement a sales-and-service approach to ensure top-tier customer support.
- Manage incoming calls, resolve queries, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Conduct sales transactions, handle payments, and provide receipts for various programs.
- Proactively promote Canlan Sports products and maintain awareness of current offerings.
- Handle casual rental bookings, prepare contracts, and collect associated fees.
- Address customer inquiries, gather feedback, and process refunds as needed.
- Stay abreast of promotions, actively selling products and services.
- Effectively manage and escalate concerns to management.
- Support in training new employees and coaching junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Flexible availability for evening and weekend shifts.
- Minimum of one year in office and customer service roles.
- Proficient in credit card payment handling.
- Comfortable with new technology and point of sale systems.
- Strong under pressure, meeting deadlines effectively.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Organized, articulate, punctual, with excellent communication and positive demeanor.
- Ability to manage and resolve challenging situations.
