About the role

A well-established and growing import dealership in the Halton Region is looking for an experiencedSales Managerto join our team!

As the Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind the dealership's sales operations. You will lead, couch, and motivative the sales team to consistently achieve monthly targets while ensuring a seamless and high-quality customer experience. As a team player, the Sales Manager strives to develop collaborative relationships throughout the dealership. The Sales Manager is focused on upholding our dealership's brand values and brand standards to create an unparalleled customer experience in the sales department.

Compensation: Base salary plus commission and bonus structure, on target earnings typically range from $130,000 - $170,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Consultants.
  • Drive performance to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a positive team culture and high morale within the sales department.
  • Work collaboratively with your sales team to drive sales with new and existing customers.
  • Review the monthly goals and targets with General Managers and discuss areas for improvement.
  • Review inventory daily, be sure that each unit that is available for immediate delivery as soon as possible and select units for special displays.
  • Ensure adherence to established sales processes and that they are using the tools in place in order to be successful. (e.g. Dealersocket/Autovance)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing teams of at least 5-10 people in an automotive environment.

  • Hold a valid OMVIC license.

  • Proficient with numerous Desking tools, CRM's and DMS software

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Professional, team orientated approach with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent listening skills.

  • Self-motiving with an excellent work ethic

  • Ability to problem-solve and high attention to detail.

  • Loves a fast pace environment.

  • Computer skills and understanding of technology.

  • The Sales Manager must be adaptable to work evening and weekend shifts as needed.

  • Busy work environment and so the Sales Manager must have exceptional organizational and stress management skills to complete daily tasks.

  • The Sales Manager must be process-oriented and able to hold their sales team to process standards
